Professional Experience

 

2014 - current   Print Resource Studio Technician - Cornish College of the Arts. Seattle, WA - Build and maintain a water based screen print lab and work one-on-one problem solving with college art students in traditional and computer assisted printmaking techniques onon a variety of substrates.

​

2012 - current   Builder, Fabricator, Studio Technician - Grey Gardens. Seattle, WA - Construct a soundproof machine room for a CNC router, laser cutter, and wood shop. Construct a pottery studio outbuilding. Refurbish a large format screen print press and maintain print equipment. Assist Artists using the space.

​

2003 - 2016       Instructor, Poster Designer, Screen Print Committee Member - The VERA Project. Seattle, WA - Maintain and teach in a water-based screen print lab for flat stock and textiles working with all ages.

​

2007 - 2010       Signage Fabricator, Installer - Sign A Rama Center City. Philadelphia, PA - Created and installed quick turn around vinyl lettering, exterior signage, digital solvent prints and banners.

​

2007                  Intern - Fabric Workshop and Museum. Philadelphia, PA - worked with Trenton Doyle Hancock and a crew of other interns to create felt trees sewn onto a backdrop for the ballet Cult of Color: Call to Color.


2007                  Printmaking Intern - Singapore Tyler Print Institute. Singapore - worked with Ghada Amer and the master printmakers on mono-prints combining screen print, flocking, offset litho, hand sewing and wet on wet screen printing on fresh couched hand-made paper. Consulted with Ghada on the works in the studio to choose layers to adjust and re-proof until the final proofs were approved for the production of limited edition print works.

2006                  Paper-Making Intern - Dieu Donne Paper mill. New York, NY - assisted master papermakers working with the artists, prepare and beat pulp in a Hollander beater, press finished sheets.

​

2003                  Architectural Signage Fabricator, Installer - Doty And Associates. Seattle, WA - Created and installed luxury way finding and donor walls for full building integration. Screen printed with solvent inks on glass, metals, wood, granite, laminates and photo-polymer plates.

​

2003-2005         Co Founder - SS Marie Antoinette. Seattle, WA - manage an artist’s work and exhibition space. Coordinate construction, up keep woodshop and print shop.

​

2001 - 2003       Large Format Screen Printer - IVEY Imaging. Seattle, WA - Operated a 6’ x 10’ automatic screen print press running Pantone matched UV ink. Printed on a wide variety of plastics, magnetics, decals and banners, finishing of print campaigns for Nordstroms, Eddie Bauer, Starbucks, Adidas, Microsoft.
